The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin will perform on the last day of the Kentucky State Fair in Freedom Hall on Sunday, August 30 at 8 p.m. The R&B/Soul music legend is the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Fans will be able to hear classics like “Respect,” “Freeway of Love” and “A Natural Woman.” This is Franklin’s first public appearance in Louisville in ten years.
Tickets for An Evening with Aretha Franklin are $50 and $55 each and includes Kentucky State Fair gate admission. Tickets go on sale Monday, June 1 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Exposition Center and Kentucky International Convention Center Ticket Offices and all Ticketmaster outlets.
