The VIPP Report: General Colin Powell will be in Kentucky on Monday

Colin_Powell_official_Secretary_of_State_photoGeneral Colin Powell has served more than 35 years of service to the U.S. Army.  He’s also served as President Ronald Reagan’s national security advisor.  The four-star general will be in Lexington, Kentucky in Monday, May 18th.

General Powell will share his insights on leadership at the opening session of Alltech’s REBELation Week.

Powell is the first African American to be the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for both President George H.W. Bush and President Bill Clinton.

The VIPP Report: Blues legend B.B. King has died at the age of 89

Late tonight, the attorney for music legend B.B. King says he has passed away.  The King of Blues died in Las Vegas.  The Mississippi native leaves behind three children. King was considered one of the greatest guitarist of our time.  He will be fondly remembered for naming his guitar “Lucille”.
