“The Crown Live in the Ville” concert announcement

Some of the kings in hip-hop will be performing in Louisville as part of ‘The Crown Live in the Ville’ concert.  According to Live Nation, the show will feature Ludacris, T.I., BigXThaPlug and Rick Ross.  The concert will take place on Saturday, October 24th at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium.  This is where the University of Louisville Football plays. 

Presale tickets for students go on sale Thursday, June 25th at 10am.  On Tuesday, June 30th UofL employees, season ticket holders and alumni have an opportunity to purchase, and then general admission tickets go on sale Friday, July 10th. 

This is also the kickoff to UofL Homecoming.  It takes place October 26th-31st. Louisville will play Stanford on October 31st, (Halloween) at 7pm.

The VIPP Report: Vic Frierson returns to his hometown where he learned to love music will perform in a special show

(Louisville, KY) Legacies Unlimited and Ken Clay & Associates presents The Walnut Street Revue featuring Louisville native Vic Frierson.  It’s A Song for You: A Tribute to the Life & Music of Luther Vandross. Frierson will celebrate the life and music of Luther Vandross. It will be held on Sunday, August 6th at the Clifton Center, 2117 Payne Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.  General admission tickets are $40 per person and if you would like to sit in the V.I.P. section on-stage it will be $45.

This is a homecoming for Vic who attended Male High School and the University of Louisville.  The singer/songwriter will perform his original show in front of people who inspired him to follow his dreams in the entertainment industry for nearly 50 years.

Tickets are available online at cliftoncenter.org.  You can also pick them up at the following locations: Better Days Records in Lyles Mall and 1765 Bardstown Road.
