By Sherlene Shanklin

I officially have my first 2016 Kentucky Derby announcement.  It’s Grace at The Race featuring 2015 Dove Artist of The Year LeCRAE.  The Christian rapper is taking the gospel industry by storm.  I remember seeing him at the very beginning of his career at Gospel Superfest.  He will not be performing alone.  Contemporary Christian and three-time Grammy award winning artist Michael W. Smith will also perform.  If that’s not enough the Gospel music duo with sisters, Erica and Tina Campbell, Mary Mary will  also be at the pre-Derby event.

Save the date of Friday, April 29, 2016 at Southeast Christian Church.  Additional information plus ticket availability information will be available soon.  You can visit www.graceattherace.com.  Stay tuned for Down the Stretch with Sherlene Shanklin for additional information and other 2016 Kentucky Derby events.
