Whitney M. YOUNG Scholars Present Digital Business Concepts at the University of Louisville

Louisville, KY — July 24, 2026 — Lincoln Foundation, in partnership with the University of Louisville College of Business, will host the 5th Annual Digital Transformation Academy. Whitney M. YOUNG Scholars in the tenth and eleventh grades spent part of their summer learning how data and technology shape the modern business landscape.

On Friday, July 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., students will showcase what they have learned during the Digital Transformation Academy to peers, family, business & community leaders in the Karp Auditorium at Thornton’s Academic Center of Excellence at L & N Cardinal Stadium.

The presentations will exemplify their forward-thinking, innovative concepts while demonstrating their knowledge of data analytics, digital strategy, and innovation. These skills are essential in this digital age. In addition to their presentations, scholars had the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials, including a Google Analytics certification, which they can proudly include on their resumes and college applications.

“Students have the opportunity to excel by diving into real-world technology applications and understanding their impact on commerce,” said Marshall Bradley, President of Lincoln Foundation. “If you’re not ahead when it comes to technology, you will always be a step behind. We are preparing our scholars to be the future leaders in business and technology.”

The event is open to invited guests, educators, and business & community leaders. We will have students, parents, and staff available for media interviews.

Louisville, KY— Lincoln Foundation, in partnership with the University of Louisville, will host the 4th Annual Digital Transformation Academy, a forward-thinking initiative designed to prepare students for leadership in a technology-driven world. The event will take place on Friday, August 1, 2025, from
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Karp Auditorium, Thornton’s Academic Center of
Excellence at L & N Cardinal Stadium.

Tenth and 11th-grade Whitney M. YOUNG Scholars will showcase original digital
business concepts developed during the academy. These presentations reflect the
students’ growing expertise in data analytics, digital strategy, and innovation—skills
that are increasingly vital in today’s business landscape.

In addition to their presentations, scholars may earn industry-recognized credentials,
including a Google Analytics Badge, which they can proudly include on their
resumes and college applications.

“The Digital Transformation Academy is more than a summer program—it’s a
launchpad for future leaders,” said Marshall Bradley, President of Lincoln Foundation.
“Our scholars are gaining real-world experience and demonstrating how young
minds can shape the future of business and technology.”

The VIPP Report: Actor Hill Harper’s Financial Tour Makes A Stop In Louisville

The Good Doctor’s Hill Harper aka Dr. Marcus Andrews is known for giving medical advice but when he’s not on the set he’s giving guidance on how to create generational wealth. 

Hill, a Brown University and Harvard graduate founded the Black Wall Street Digital Wallet which promoted financial independence and economic influence. 

Hill also cofounded The Digital Financial Revolution Tour and it will make a stop in Louisville of Sunday, May 23rd from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Club Cedar, 416 South 26th Street. 

The financial tour will be virtual but participants will gather at Club Cedar.
