The VIPP Report: Ambitions airs tonight and all eyes will be on Louisville native Kendrick Cross

Kendrick Cross

“The411” Entertainment Report by  Sherlene Shanklin, WHAS11 Television, ABC Affiliate in Louisville, KY

I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with actor Kendrick Cross not once but twice in the past year talking about his career but tonight all eyes will be on the Louisville native as the Will Packer drama series Ambitions debuts tonight on the OWN Network.

Kendrick made a special visit to Louisville a few weeks ago to surprise his mother for Mother’s Day.  He sat down with me and told me a little about the show.  I’ve also been in contact with the actor this evening and you can tell he’s excited about fans getting an opportunity to see the show.  He told me to make sure I was watching. I hope you tune in to watch as well and tell me what you think.

Here’s a link about Cross’ character and just a few hints of what you can expect when you watch the series co-starring Robin Givens, Essence Atkins and Brian White.

Also, did you know that Givens has a connection to Kentucky as well?  Her parents are from the Lexington area and her uncle is the former University of Kentucky basketball legend Jack “Goose” Givens.

ShoulderUp logo

ATLANTA, GA AUGUST 2018 – Phyllis Newhouse and Viola Davis have come together as Co-Founders of a new global women’s movement called ShoulderUp.

Around the world, women who represent economic power and voices of influence, have come together to launch what many believe to be the most impactful and important movement of our time. These are women dedicated to connecting and supporting other women on their journey, in an effort to bring about change where and when it is needed the most.

Phyllis and Viola will launch the ShoulderUP Movement during a 2 hour simulcast, called Journey to Legacy. The simulcast on Sunday, August 26, 2018 will offer candid conversation, laughter, lessons, and inspiration, as they teach us that connection begins with understanding the power of your own story. They will share how they each used their pasts to create a new story for themselves, how you can do the same and -in turn- use this as your foundation for building significance and legacy. By tuning in, you will learn the true purpose of the movement, and see how connecting with these women can help you on your individual journey to legacy.

To experience the ShoulderUp launch and learn from these two incredible women, individual and group Simulcast Passes can be purchased at legendsandleaders.com.

Women of all backgrounds and from around the world are being invited to experience Journey to Legacy and the debut of the ShoulderUP movement.
