Valentine’s Day will never be the same if you give the gift love through music. You have only a few hours before you give your sweetheart a surprise. If you’re like many and time is not on your side consider taking them to a concert. Indiana native singer, songwriter and producer Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds will be performing at the Louisville Palace. The 11-time Grammy Award winning artist is known for his love ballads and with his dozens of hits throughout his 30 plus years in the entertainment industry. He’s known for working with stars like Toni Braxton , the late Whitney Houston, TLC and Midnight Star who started their group while attending Kentucky State University.
When you attend the show on February 14th, you will hear songs like “Whip Appeal”, “When Can I See You Again”, “I Care About You” to “Tender Love”. He will take you down memory lane and he may sing some hits you had no idea he was affiliated with like “My, My, My” by Johnny Gill, “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men, or “Red Light Special” by TLC. Babyface wrote and/or produced all of those songs plus countless others that your favorite artist sings.
Tickets are still available and they range from $30 to $99.50. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show is at 8:00 pm. You can purchase them at www.louisvillepalace.com, or at the Louisville Palace box office.
