It’s time to take you back to the beginning of hip-hop when you hear the sounds of Das Efx singing “They Want Efx”, Keith Murray with “The Most Beautifullest Thing In This World” and Rakim cranking out “Paid in Full”.  You can hear those hits plus much more at the 3rd Annual Fresh Fest.

On Sunday, August 2nd on the Belvedere along the Ohio River in downtown Louisville, Old School music fans will have a full plate of entertainment.

Nice & Smooth, Keith Murray, Kid & Play, Das Efx, and Rakim will take the stage to take you back in time.

It only makes sense to have Ed Lover host the Louisville show since he introduced many of these artists on his show, Yo! MTV Raps.

DJ Empty Beats and DJ Kaos, official DJ for hip-hop legend Slick Rick and Louisville native will keep the audience entertained between acts.

There will be a special performance by Safiyah Dance Company and Kidzeatfree.

Tickets start at $30 for general admission and if you are looking for the V.I.P. treatment they have a few still available.  For details go to thefreshmusicfest.org.
